Maasdijk: evenly grown Westland village

Maasdijk, municipality of Westland, has a housing stock built up evenly over the decades: over a quarter from 1946 to 1974, a fifth from 1975 to 1991, a fifth from 1992 to 2005 and more than a tenth from after 2015. The median construction year is 1986; pre-war buildings make up about an eleventh.

When do you not need a new label?

If a registered label less than ten years old already exists, you can simply use it for a sale or rental. Check the survey date on EP-online. Beyond that a few exceptions to the label obligation apply, for instance buildings used only temporarily. Listed buildings have not been covered by those exceptions since 29 May 2026: a national or municipal monument now does need a valid energy label when sold or rented out.
